The SureSmile Procedure begins with your consultation, during which we’ll talk about your treatment goals. A digital impression of your teeth will then be taken using a special camera known as an Intraoral Scanner.
The 3D model of your teeth created from this scan is used to create a three-dimensional replica. SureSmile uses these photos to demonstrate the desired tooth movement and the final result of your treatment. These images are then used to create your aligners.
During your treatment, we will replace your aligners every week (depending on how quickly your teeth adjust).
To get the best and quickest results from SureSmile, we recommend wearing your aligners for 20-22 hours a day.
Depending on your goal we will go through a treatment plan to ensure your new smile last for the longest time possible. We will advise you to wear retainers to help maintain your results.
