We’ll help you find the solution that is right for you.
These dentures help in replacing a complete set of arches when you lose all your teeth. Complete dentures resemble your natural teeth closely and can give you an enhanced natural appearance.
We will take the necessary measurements so that we can prepare customised dentures that will fit snugly and comfortably over the jawbone and gums. Our dentists will ensure your dentures are comfortable and give you advice on cleaning them properly to keep them in good condition before you leave.
These dentures are used to replace one or more teeth and can be used if some natural teeth remain. These replacement teeth are particularly made to fit in the gaps that you have and combine with the remaining teeth. These can be fixed in place by attaching them to metal frameworks that hold on to natural tooth roots, wire clasps, or dental adhesive.
These dentures are a permanent solution for both partial and full dentures. Denture stabilisation makes use of implants to secure over dentures in place. This type of dental care uses implants (small titanium screws) placed in the jawbone to act as natural roots for your teeth. The over denture will then be secured onto the implant, providing a fixed anchor.
There are two types of metal dentures: Standard and Modified
Standard metal dentures have a small portion in direct contact with gum, but the metal used is non-allergic.
The modified metal denture doesn’t have anymetal in direct contact with gum. A plastic liner is used between the steel structure of the denture and the gum instead.. Both hard and soft plastic can be used for this purpose, though most people prefer soft liners. Using a metal denture can add stability to the jaw and will also be more comfortable for the patient. However, it’s important to note that these will need to be relined yearly.
Dentures that are flexible might be the ideal solution for a person who has lost one or more of their real teeth. This natural replacement of missing teeth can have a remarkable effect on both the look and general well-being of an individual. Flexible dentures are more compact and do not cover as much of the roof or floor of the mouth, making it easier to eat and speak. Not only are flexible dentures more comfortable for patients, but they also provide a more cosmetic solution. The material used to create the fixture is transparent and blends in with the natural gum colour in the mouth. Tooth-coloured clasps replace the unsightly metal clasps of traditional dentures.
It may take you a little time to get used to your new dentures. However modern dentures are more comfortable than dentures were previously.
